About

A classroom-ready escape room focused on the first ten elements of the periodic table, ideal for chemistry classes, STEM enrichment, review days, or team-building activities. Students collaborate to solve content-based puzzles connected to atomic structure, element symbols, and basic properties of matter. Each challenge reinforces foundational chemistry concepts, critical thinking, and problem-solving through an immersive narrative experience. Suitable for upper elementary through middle school learners.

Mission

Something isn’t right. As you and your classmates enter the science lab to begin learning about the periodic table, the doors suddenly lock behind you with a loud click. The lights dim, and the smartboard activates, flashing the symbols of the first ten elements in glowing text.

A computerized voice fills the room:

“Only students who understand the building blocks of matter will be allowed to leave.”

Around the lab, lockers, drawers, and equipment are sealed with locks tied to Hydrogen through Neon. A countdown begins, and each mistake costs valuable time. To escape, you must solve every challenge, unlock each element, and restore access to the lab before the final element disappears.
